Kept Since 1965 · Washington, Caracas, Zurich
The Hitz press archive holds about 144 original documents on the 1965 disappearance of the heiress Anna Maria Hitz: newspaper clippings in English, Spanish, German and French from three continents, plus court papers, letters and photographs. The family kept all of it for sixty years. Ten documents are public below, in the order they were printed. The rest stay sealed until the story is told.

The Sealed Documents
134 documents remain sealed
What is not public: the rest of the international press run, the Swiss and Venezuelan court papers, the letters, and the photographs the newspapers never saw. They stay sealed until the story is told, first to the email list, then in the book.
