True Crime IP with Archive

Most true-crime pitches start with a podcast and a Wikipedia page. This one starts with the family scrapbooks: front pages in four languages, court files, and a cable the mother never trusted.

What does primary-archive true-crime IP mean?

The buyer can touch the sources, not only a retelling. The Hitz Inheritance is developed from documents the family kept since 1965, not from secondary true-crime blogs. That is the difference between a pitch and a production bible.

How large is the archive?

About 144 original documents, 1965 to 1966, in English, Spanish, German, and French, plus letters and photographs. Twelve are digitized and public. The rest stay sealed until the story is told, with supervised access for rights conversations.

Is the story still unresolved?

The person was found within days. The fortune was never collected by the family. Open questions include the empty grave of Othmar Hitz, a will that misspells the dead man’s name, bearer shares and jewels seized in 1966, and Swiss accounts that were never opened.
