The Hitz Inheritance is a memoir and documented true story of Anna Maria Hitz, the Swiss-Venezuelan heiress who vanished from Washington in November 1965 and resurfaced in Caracas. Written by her granddaughter, Elisabeth Bierschenk Hitz, from the family archive.

Elisabeth Hitz is the sole author and sole life-rights holder. There is no estate committee and no split of the story rights among cousins. One signature.
