Act I. The fortune. A fortune signed into one man's name. That lawyer went on to defend the dictator.

Act II. The grave. His widow said poison. When they opened his grave, it was empty.

Act III. The caged bird. Stolen at five by her father. Snatched from a Swiss schoolyard at thirteen for her mother. The papers called her the Golden Caged Bird.

Act IV. The vanishing. Twenty-six days from the fortune, she vanished. A cable said she was 18 and happy. Her mother did not believe a word of it.

Act V. The money. No one ever collected. The money is still out there.
